Opening a bank account in USA is a difficult task, you don't live in USA.

Whenever you come to a bank where you can apply for an account, you will find that there is no way to input a country name. You will always have to give an address within USA, and you have to give your US social security number. You will also have to give your US driver's license number in most cases.

You can have two kinds of Bank Accounts:

Saving (with interest).

Checking (with no interest).

Checking account is the one which you will be using more often especially for all cheque payments, at ATM withdrawal, or against your debit card. Make sure that you understand the monthly usage fee structure. Saving account is for your savings.
